Did I Watched Legal Movies Online Or Am I Hallicunating?

Listen, I’m not the usual movie or drama goer. I saved hundreds, if not thousands of dollars every year by passing on many chances to watch the latest blockbuster movies, or the top rating drams from Hong Kong, Korea or Taiwan.

The recent cartoon animated movie “Kung Fu Panda” caught my attention as it was given out free tickets to office staffs. Of course, it’s a sort of family kind of film and it don’t really suit me for obvious reasons.

Just last Friday, I unintentionally evesdropped on the conversation between a group of teenagers… probably doing their Internship with a customer service relation department.

I couldn’t help but picked up a tip… and you can’t blame me for they were really speaking real loud in the MRT (public train transport in Singapore).

“Hey, I watched the movie Kung Fu Panda on movie6.net…”

“What?!”, I mumbled to myself.

Isn’t this the VERY movie to be shown on the coming weekend? I took a mental note of the site URI before finding myself struggling to keep awake from dozing off on the seat. This incident didn’t came back until much later on…

A few days later, I remembered the site. To my pleasant surprise, it look a lot (and indeed is!) like a blog with links pointing you to some sites hosted in China. Man, some of them look really like YouTube and the video quality is not too bad! I won’t dare say it’s good, but it sure comes anywhere close to navigation and quality from YouTube users.

I was immediately hooked by the movie frankly, but I didn’t finish it all as I was interrupted by a friend’s phone, reminding me from staying up too late for the night.

Tell me if it’s legal to watch movies online!

I was hooked… but luckily, I’m still under control! Will it be my time killer? Fortunately, I’m not a movie addict and thanks to my pragmatic nature, this isn’t really a big issue.

What about you? As broadband and cable connectivity racks up higher penetration across the globe, it’s not hard to imagine going back to the days where the Web was just a concept of text pages. We didn’t have YouTube back then remember?

I trust you’ll not burn up your precious time after reading my article! It can get quite addictive for most people once they are hooked onto online entertainment channels…

Just remember… life is short, do you put your most productive energy on worthy efforts?

I’m sorry to hear that. Yahoo mail is giving me some service problem lately… LOL but that’s alright since we can’t expect too much from a free service! :)
