Singapore NDP 2007 @ Marina Bay Part 3
We’re Counting Down to Singapore NDP 2007!
Sun Yan Zi (???) is a very special name for all of us Singaporean, especially to the Chinese speaking residents.
I remember when she started to catch my attention when I was doing my internship in 2001 when a classmate of mine (Anthony, Koh Keng Ong) claimed that he was dreaming about me with Stephenie queuing up for our sugarcane drink at the Bedok interchange food center. Okay, that was his dream actually and I guess it was just fantasy? Who wouldn’t when she made her name even before she graduated from Nanyang Business School (NBS)? Anthony is already married though so I hope this don’t gets around fast into the hands of his wife? Nah… she’s not that petty right?
All in all, she can be consider my senior in the Alumni, though NBS is just opposite the school of EEE (School of Electrical Electronic Engineering, NTU). I believe many guys over at our faculty would have been crazy over her? I don’t know… but I just find her rather conservative and she looks great as an elder sister for me, unfortunately she’s younger than me ~LOL! If you’re like me and love her or her singing, do take a moment to check out on her personal biography.
Call me a blockwood then!
Anyway, she did us all proud and she always reminds me of the peace making she did for adopting children in the 3rd world countries.
It saddens me as she will get more busy in her career and leaving little chance again for her in the national celebrations.
In memory of her contributions to NDP 2002, here are some mini recaps of her songs I like very much which she presented to the countrymen of Singapore.
???-???? MTV & One United People:
As much as I loved to put up many of Stephenie’s favorites, I have to keep to the theme I set out with. Perhaps I shall put my emotions aside and focus on the topic of Singapore NDP 2007?
After much digging on the Internet, I found some realy good ones I’d like to archive and present here. Hopefully YouTube won’t take them down anytime soon so that you can still enjoy them while it’s there.
Comments are most welcomed!
